The Rocky Mountain Rendezvous of Geoscience Students and Employers is back by popular demand!

Last years “Rendezvous” was a great success. More than 100 students from across the U.S. (but mostly from the Rocky Mountain and adjacent regions) came to make poster presentations of their research and to interview with recruiters from more than 24 companies. Recruiters commented that they were very pleased with the caliber of students who attended and many job offers were extended. With last year’s experience as a foundation, we plan to expand the number of companies involved and broaden participation to include representatives of the mining, environmental, hydrology and government agencies as well as the petroleum industry.

Accomodation Information for Recruiters

  1. We have 15 rooms reserved at the Hampton Inn. They are reserved under "Rocky Mountain Rendezvous". For these accommodations, dates are for Sept. 19–22.   2. We have also reserved 10 rooms at the Comfort Inn for Sept. 19–22. They are reserved under "Rocky Mountain Rendezvous". Price is $89.99 plus tax for a King and double queen size bed room.   3. There are also 10 rooms reserved at the University Hiton Garden Inn for Sept. 19, and 20 rooms reserved for Sept. 20–22. They are reserved under "UW Department of Geology and Geophysics".
