Workshop - Mock Interviews & Resume Writing

Friday, TBA, 1:00 PM - 5:00 PM.

1:00-2:30pm: Resume Workshop with instruction, answer questions from audience, critique student resumes.

2:30-5:00pm: Interview Workshop with instruction, answer questions from audience, short practice interviews.

Location for the interviewing TBA.

Workshop presented by Ann Jones of UW Advising and Career Services.

***There is a secret to successful job interviewing; it's called PRACTICE! ***

Fine-tune your interviewing skills by participating in a 15-30 minute practice session where you will be asked sample interview
questions and your answers and self-presentation style will be critiqued in a safe environment. If interested in either a morning or afternoon practice session (within the times stated above), upon registering for the workshop, contact Ann Jones at
aljones@uwyo.edu and state your time preference.

Field Trip #1

Rig Tour. Sponsored by Anadarko. *ONLY CLOSED-TOED SHOES AND LONG PANTS ALLOWED!

This field trip will be in Rawlins, WY. There will be a drilling presentation, discussion on open hole logging, then the field trip will head out to the Wamsutter field for the rig tour. Lunch will be provided.

Departs the Earth Science Building Atrium @ 7:30 am. Please arrive 30 minutes prior to your FT departure.
